Our Roots and Embodiment Reformer Pilates classes are ideal if you are new to Pilates, returning after a break, or would like to enhance your existing practice, AND we are in the perfect location if you are based in Dulwich, South London.
Pilates was originally created as a one-to-one instruction and practice. That’s why group classes at Reanimate Movement are intentionally kept small to ensure that you receive the attention, care, and guidance you and your body deserves. With a consistent practice, you will experience noticeable benefits, both inside and out.
Small Reformer Pilates class sizes allow for individual and differentiated instruction, timely verbal or hands-on adjustments (with consent), and thoughtful personalised support. This creates a calm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where you can move with confidence, control, and awareness.
Rooted in the classical Pilates repertoire, each session is carefully structured and guided using considered progressions, adaptations, modifications and variations - empowering you to move at your own pace while honouring your body’s needs on any given day.
While Pilates is not choreography-led, creativity is thoughtfully woven into sessions where appropriate - always grounded in the principles of Pilates. Props and intentional transitions are used purposefully to support your practice and progression.
